What an awesome time in Grand Bend this weekend! Special thanks to Dino who put on a spectacular event! Huge thanks to all the Top Fuel riders and their crew who made the journey for putting on an event that made the fans go wild!! To CMDRA's major sponsors Ric and Peggy from Deeley Harley Davidson Canada and Shauna and Chris from Drag Specialties/Parts Canada it was great to have you there. It was also good to see Tom Mann and Heather Ireland from Biker TV there to catch it all on film. Thanks to all of the Western crew who made this event a spectacular one! I'm sure that anyone who was there from the West can agree that the crowd was HUGE!!!! I've been to this race in the past few years but hadn't seen anything like this year! I bet there were 300-400 Harleys parked in the paved pit area, a really healthy import class (40-50 bikes), and the crowd was nuts for the Nitro bikes! I had to leave mid-day on Sunday and people were still pouring into the gates. Awesome job Dino!

Mr. Scott, Adele, Bill, great to see you again, Brian Hall was a great guy to meet to (check out the site, dude!). All in all it was awesome! I'm sure Mandy took some great shots, I took some too, and check out Fastpixs.com who should have a ton of pics up very soon! I'll get something posted on CanadianDragbike.com ASAP!!!

A big thank-you goes out to everyone who helped us out last weekend at Grand Bend! That was quite a trip with to go on with a bike that wasn't finished and had never been fired before leaving. Don and Denise Newlove were instrumental with our finishing the bike, without them we were fighting an even larger uphill battle. Mick and Murray from Kane's H-D were a great help and inspiration to Andy and myself, as well as supplying as with some forgotten clutch parts, thanks guys! A trip that could have been terrible turned out some very promising short-track numbers. Its a cinderella story. Again, thanks to everyone, and Don, we'll get the beers at Edmonton.
