Both days started with a little rain, but cleared up for some great weather and some very good racing.
Again Mission proves to be the fastest track in the country with many racers having personal bests.
Ron Houniet and Ken Kent both went over 203 MPH, but at the end of the race is was Steve Huff who went home with the new Top Fuel MPH record of 202.88 on a 7.218 pass, backed up with a 7.298 at 202.56. George Welch turned some heads when he qualified his high gear only Top Fuel at 6.979 at 180.00 MPH. George broke the shaft on Saturday and was unable to get it fixed for Sunday's race.
Neighbor Dave Stickle set a personal best in the second round of Pro Dragster with a 8.850 at 160.62 when he took out points leader Al Miles. And Ross Cuthbertson had his first 8 second pass in the final to win the Modified class.

Top Fuel:
Everybody has been gunning for Ron Houniet this year but it was just a matter time before he started shooting back. He set low ET and top MPH for the event when he qualified #1 with a 6.941 at 203.38.
He took the final with a 7.091 at 200.17 against Dave O'Hara who had to shut off after the burnout.
Pro Fuel:
Chris Gartman broke during test and tune on Saturday and after wrenching all day brought is rear engine Pro Fuel to the line for a one shot chance in the final round of qualifying. He qualified #1 with a 7.579 at 160.82 then ran a 7.509 at 156.030 in final to win over Kristine Becker's 8.307 at 130.28 .
Pro Dragster:
John McMillin came up from South Beach Oregon to qualify #1 and set low ET in every round of eliminations. His 7.934 at 159.15 won the final against Mark Rossignol's 8.860 at 139.72
Pro Mod:
Len Darnell continues to dominate Pro Mod. Four for four this year qualifying #1 and taking the win.
In the final he faced Dave Galbiati and ran a 7.612 at 142.97 to Dave's 8.073 at 162.83 .
Pro Stock:
Dan Whyte and the County Boys Pro Stock team made the 23 hour drive from Dauphin Manitoba to end Lee Uhrich's winning steak. Dan's 9.352 at 147.71 was good for the win when Lee broke on the line.
Modified:
Ross Cuthbertson was ear to ear gins when he qualified his brand new Modified Harley at #1 and made his first 8 second pass in the final against Mike Downey. Ross ran a 8.946 at 139.79 to Mike's 9.369 at 140.47
Super Gas:
John Fyvie was not gun shy after his red light final in Prince George against Doug Ainsworth. With the best reaction time of the day at 0.407 , he again faced Doug but came out on top with a 10.330 to Doug's 11.363.
Super Bike:
Even if Troy Rypstra had not had shifter trouble, Mike Coffey would have been hard to beat.
A 0.413 light and 11.301 on a 11.27 dial left no room for chance.
Street:
Mike Dunn and Steve Morris where #1 and #2 in points when they met in the final. Mike stretched his points lead with 11.530 on a 11.48 dial on his Buel to Steve's 12.156 on a 11.90 dial on his 883 Sportster.
Trophy:
Kim Nolan's first race on her new Honda was good for the win. Her 11.936 on a 11.90 dial won over Jason McVicar's 2002 Yamaha with a 11.219 on a 11.00 dial.
Chicago Shootout:
The second event with this winner takes all elimination for the first round runner-up bikes from the pro classes. Ken Kent took home $500.00 with a tire smoking win when Jim Flower's fueler broke.
King Of Hill.
Mike Sheehan takes home the cash with 0.411 light and a 10.016 on 9.95 dial. Kevin Brennan ran the number but lost on the tree with his 0.485, 9.089 on a 9.03 dial.
